What’s the Timeline? Custom wedding invitations can take up to 10 weeks to produce, from the initial inquiry to receiving the final product in hand. This is especially true for a destination wedding so something to keep in mind when shopping for invitation suites. Also, remember to plan mailing your invites at least 3 months before your wedding date.
What pieces can go in a destination wedding invitation suite? The important information in your main invitation of course, but we highly recommend a detail card to be part of your invitation suite too. This card can include info about a welcome party the night before the wedding, hotel and transportation information, farewell party info, etc. If you are not sending a RSVP card, the detail card is perfect to include your website and all the details needed for your guests to RSVP. Cute details like locations, venue illustrations or wedding icons are the sweetest of details on a custom map.
